From creating solutions for our clients to building careers for our people, we shape what matters , and that's where you come in.About the RoleWe are seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager to join our Risk Advisory Services (RAS) team in Brisbane.In this client-facing role, you will lead the delivery of contract performance audit and assurance engagements across major infrastructure and service delivery arrangements.
You will take ownership of engagements, work closely with senior stakeholders, and support the development of team members.Key responsibilitiesLead and deliver contract performance audit and assurance engagementsManage end-to-end delivery, including planning, scoping, execution and reportingInterpret contractual arrangements and assess performance, compliance and financial outcomesOversee fieldwork and provide guidance to junior team membersBuild strong client relationships and communicate insights to senior stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement of methodologies and contribute to practice growthAbout youExperience in contract performance audit or related assurance work within qualified services or industryStrong skills in risk and control identification, developing audit scopes / statements of work and work paper development and executionExperience leading engagements or workstreams and delivering high-quality outcomesStrong analytical and report writing capability,
with the ability to communicate clearly to senior stakeholdersCommercial mindset with the ability to interpret contractual arrangements in a practical wayTertiary qualification in accounting, law or business; professional certifications (CA, CPA, CIA) are desirable but not essentialWhy BDO?
