Competitive salary package of $105,000 – $130,000Hybrid work arrangement: 3 days in the Carlton, Victoria office and 2 days working from homeGenuine opportunities for career progressionOngoing career development and trainingSupportive and collaborative team environmentA culture that actively promotes work–life balanceThe RoleAs a Senior Accountant / Team Leader, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax and accounting services while mentoring junior team members and supporting client relationships.This position is ideal for a technically strong public practice professional who enjoys both client-facing work and team leadership responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review complex individual, company, partnership,
and trust tax returnsPrepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standardsEnsure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulatory requirementsStay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standardsIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service deliveryBuild and maintain strong client relationshipsManage the workflow for the teamAssist with the provision of business advisory and coaching services for clientsAbout YouCA qualification (preferred but not required)Minimum of 4 years' experience in Australian public practiceStrong technical knowledge of Australian tax legislation and financial reporting standardsProficient in Xero, including Xero TaxExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to manage deadlines and multiple client portfoliosDemonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilityHigh level of professionalism and integrityPlease note:Candidates must reside in Australia and have permanent work rights with no restrictions to apply.
