The role also has a wellbeing component with teachers assigned a form class.Commencing in Term 4, **** we are currently seeking a permanent full-time English Teacher.

What You Will DoTeach English to students in years 7 to 12, and according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum, and Dalton principles of responsibility, independence, collaboration and reflectionWrite, implement and evaluate high-calibre English teaching programs and Dalton assignments ensuring the knowledge, understanding and success of each studentActively participate in the planning of curriculum,



writing of programs and resourcesUse formative and summative assessments to determine student progressSubmit marking, reports and academic results as requiredMonitor and report on the progress of all studentsPerform other duties as required.What You Will BringA tertiary major in English literature and accreditation with NESAExperience in teaching up to HSC levels and willingness to teach Extension 1 and 2 Stage 6 syllabusA love of English and the ability to promote this throughout the SchoolAbility to follow instructions, work unsupervised and be a cooperative team memberUnderstanding of and commitment to WHS legislation and risk management principlesA valid Working with Children Clearance (WWCC) and First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
