About the roleThe Trade Centre Sales & Warehouse Operator is a Full-time position, based at Hendra, QLD.
Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre and assist in the customer service, sales, and warehouse duties.Key responsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service in person and over the phoneAssist customers with product selection and ordersProcess sales, invoices and paymentsBuild strong relationships with trade customersCoordinate customer collections and deliveriesAssist with stock control and warehouse activitiesOperate a forklift and undertake loading/unloading dutiesMaintain a safe and organised workplaceWhat we're looking forStrong customer service experienceExperience in retail, trade supplies, hardware, automotive parts or similar industriesGood communication and computer skillsA forklift licence and relevant experience are essential.Positive attitude and willingness to learnAbility to perform physical warehouse tasks when requiredWorking HoursEnjoy an early finish each day, giving you more time for family, hobbies, or personal commitments in the afternoon.
This full-time role is worked Monday to Friday, with rostered hours between 5:30am to 2:30pm.
Additional hours worked beyond the standard 38-hour week are paid at overtime rates,
