How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:Perform cleaning of aerospace components and assemblies in accordance with approved procedures and/or customer requirementsVerify cleanliness requirements through testing, inspection, and process monitoring.Maintain cleaning equipment, laboratory instruments, and process chemicals to ensure compliance with specifications.Investigate cleanliness-related non-conformances and support corrective actions and process improvementsMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality, safety,
and environmental requirementsHandle and dispose of hazardous materials in approved mannerCollaborate with engineers to develop and document activitiesTo communicate with all managers and team members to ensure positive working relationships and adherence to the daily operational requirementAbility to off-hours work, as necessary, during certain build phasesOther duties as required by ManagementMinimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Certificate III, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Laboratory Techniques, Chemistry, Science, Engineering, or a related disciplineExperience working in a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, or laboratory environmentDemonstrated experience in laboratory testing and analysisStrong understanding of quality systems and documentation requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsDesired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:Experience with cleaning chemistry or surface treatment processesExperience with laboratory calibration and equipment maintenanceAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Sound organisational and time management skillsCommitment to safety and quality standards, knowledge of ISO **** quality systemsUnderstanding of continuous improvement principlesAbility to rapidly adapt to changes in direction while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.Eligibility: Applicants must be an Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident or have an appropriate Australian work visa or work entitlements.Gilmour Space Technologies is proud to be an equal chance employer.
