Job OverviewWe are currently looking for a customer focused Customer Accounts Officer to join the National Shared Services Centre located at our head office inParramatta, NSW to provide support to our East Coast business partners.
This role is instrumental in performing the day-to-day task of account management and collections within the centralised credit function which is a part of the National Shared Services Centre.This is a full time, fixed term contract position ending March **** working Monday to Friday in our Parramatta office.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling a high volume of collection calls to assigned customer baseNegotiating the collection of outstanding balances which have fallen into arrearsProactively identifying and escalating risks to the Collections ManagerMonitoring and reporting in real time of payment deteriorationEnsuring all customer accounts have a valid credit application on fileEnsuring customer credit claims are recorded and managed through to conclusionManaging customer orders within assigned credit limitsGenerating, reviewing, and distributing various reportsFlexible in your approach with workdays and working hoursCollaborative with the Sales Function to resolve matters that may delay paymentUtilising a diary system to ensure strict follow-up with internal and external customersAssisting the Collections Manager as requiredKey RequirementsHave a minimum 1-3 years' experience in a collections / recovery roleAre experienced in managing a high value and volume customer portfolioExhibit strong and effective time and diary management skills and experienceCan deliver remarkable customer service and exceptional recovery resultsPossess a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situationsHave utilised SAP in previous employmentAbout Heidelberg MaterialsAbout Heidelberg Materials With more than 4,000 employees across 300 sites, we have an extensive production and logistics network across Australia.
