Bowness Stud & Watershed Farm | Young, NSW Starting 8 October ****.We are seeking experienced Yearling Sales Preparation Staff to join our team on farm for the upcoming sales season.Applicants must be confident and experienced handling and educating young thoroughbreds and able to work safely and competently.The role includes:Yearling handling and educationHand walking, parade and standing practiceGrooming, washing and general sales preparationFeeding,



mucking out and general reliable dutiesMonitoring horse health and administering basic treatments/medicationsAssisting with vets and farriersPaddock checks and general stud duties as requiredApplicants must have:Previous yearling sales preparation experienceStrong ground handling and horsemanship skills with young horsesA good eye for horse health and attention to detailExcellent spoken English and listeningA current driver's licenceA valid Australian working visa/right to workYou must be available to work for a minimum of 4 to 6 months from 8 October **** and be available throughout the Christmas and New Year period.Full time position.
