Our purpose is to prepare resilient global citizens who are creative thinkers with a heart for servant leadership.Job DescriptionABOUT YOUThis is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.The successful applicant will have prior barista experience and be confident preparing a variety of hot and cold beverages, including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte art.
You will play an important role in creating a welcoming and professional cafe experience for our students, staff, families and visitors.To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Barista who enjoys providing excellent customer service and is comfortable working in a busy school cafe environment.Candidates should demonstrate:Experience working as a Barista in a cafe, hospitality or retail environmentDemonstrated ability to produce a range of hot and cold beverages,



including consistently high-quality coffee and basic latte artExcellent customer service and presentation skillsAbility to follow operating procedures and prepare orders according to customer requirementsExperience cleaning and maintaining service areas and equipment to required hygiene and food safety standardsExperience opening and closing a cafe and handling cash and electronic transactionsStrong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities during busy service periodsAbility to work independently while also contributing positively as part of a teamA friendly, professional and approachable manner.IMPORTANT INFORMATIONHold or be eligible to hold a current Blue Card for Working with Children in QueenslandAgree to undergo a Criminal History/Police Check conducted by the SchoolBe an Australian resident or otherwise eligible to work in Australia.Must be able todemonstratean understanding ofappropriate professionalboundaries and standards when working with children and young people.For further information, please contact our People and Culture team onor via email at
