This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on skilled who takes pride in maintaining high-quality facilities and grounds and enjoys working within a supportive school community.Reporting to the Property Services Manager, the successful applicant will play an important role in ensuring that College buildings, grounds, equipment and reticulation systems are maintained to a high standard, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement and maintenance of the College reticulation systemGeneral maintenance of buildings, grounds and equipmentResponding to maintenance requests and prioritising tasksAssisting with the upkeep of lawns,



ovals and landscaped areasMaintaining maintenance records and ordering required suppliesSupporting College events through equipment set-up and transportUpholding Work Health and Safety standards across all dutiesEssential CriteriaExperience in the maintenance and repair of reticulation systemsExperience in building, grounds and general maintenanceStrong communication, organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamSound computer skillsCurrent Western Australian 'C' Class Driver's LicenceDesirableExperience operating and maintaining grounds and gardening equipmentTrade qualifications in groundskeeping, landscaping, turf management, reticulation or a related fieldCurrent Western Australian MR Driver's LicenceApplicants MustSupport the Catholic ethos of Bunbury Catholic CollegeHold, or be willing to obtain, Accreditation to Work in a Catholic SchoolHold, or be willing to obtain, a current Working with Children CheckHold a current WA Department of Education Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (or be eligible to obtain one)Successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and baseline hearing checkChild Safe StatementBunbury Catholic College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
