We are seeking dedicated and reliable Gym Attendant to join our team supporting the Australian Defence Force through our ESS business.
In this front-line role, you'll be the welcoming face of the gym ensuring a safe, professional, and engaging environment for Defence personnel.
You'll manage daily reception duties, conduct fitness inductions, and help maintain the facility to the highest standards.Role location:Lavarack BarracksYour responsibilities will include:Greet and assist gym users, providing exceptional customer service and supportConduct fitness centre inductions and maintain accurate user recordsOversee daily operations, including equipment checks and general maintenance reportingEnsure compliance with all safety and hygiene proceduresSupport the coordination of fitness activities, programs, and eventsContribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming facility environmentReport hazards, near misses, or maintenance issues promptly and constructivelyWhat we're looking for:Current First Aid and CPR certificationCertificate III or IV in Fitness (highly desirable)Strong interpersonal and communication skillsReliable, qualified,



and proactive approach to customer serviceExperience in gym or recreation facility operations highly regardedDemonstrated commitment to safety and team collaborationAbility to obtain and maintain a National Police Check and Defence clearanceAustralian Citizenship is a mandatory requirement (Defence security clearance required)Why join us?
