You will also have access to a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and ongoing professional development opportunities.Responsibilities of this role include:Ensuring compliance with Public Health and Wellbeing Regulations and GSPO requirementsDelivering exceptional customer experiences by effectively addressing member and guest enquiries and concernsMonitoring and enforcing safety,
operational and risk management proceduresProviding leadership and support to staff across all departmentsMentoring, coaching and developing team members to achieve high-performance standardsCoordinating daily operations to ensure seamless service deliveryResponding to emergency situations, including aquatic rescues, first aid incidents, major emergencies and centre evacuationsSupporting a positive workplace culture aligned with Peninsula Leisure's values and service standardsThe remuneration for this position is aligned with Level 7 of the Fitness Industry Award.Key qualities we are looking for:Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead by example and motivate othersStrong knowledge of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operations (GSPO) and plant room operationsA genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer serviceSound judgement and the ability to remain calm under pressureStrong understanding of risk management and occupational health and safety practices within a leisure centre environmentExcellent organisational, time management and administrative skillsThe ability to embody and promote Peninsula Leisure's values in all aspects of their workKey Selection CriteriaSISSS***** Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Victoria)HLTAID011 Provide First Aid CertificateCurrent Working With Children CheckAquatic Technical Operator CertificateHLTAID014 Provide Advanced First AidEmployment is subject toA satisfactory National Police CheckA current Employee Working With Children CheckApplicants being 18 years of age or olderPeninsula Leisure is an Equal Opportunity and Child Safe Employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
