Our client is looking to hire a Registered Nurse with anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout experience to join a private hospital theatre team in Hobart, Tasmania.

About the Facility

A private, mission-based hospital in Hobart, Tasmania, providing perioperative and surgical services across a range of specialties, with a genuine care-focused culture.

The Role

Reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will work within the perioperative team across anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout duties, spanning a range of surgical specialties.

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing anaesthetics/recovery and scrub/scout support across a range of surgical specialties
Preparing and maintaining instrumentation and equipment for theatre lists
Maintaining the sterile field throughout procedures
Supporting the surgical team through the full case
Applying ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements throughout theatre practice
Escalating patient safety concerns as they arise

What You Will Need




Current AHPRA registration/practising certificate as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated anaesthetics/recovery and/or scrub/scout experience in an operating theatre environment
Strong knowledge of ACORN standards and NSQHS requirements
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work within, and contribute positively to, a team
Eligibility to work in Australia
