This is a great opportunity for someone with accounts payable experience who enjoys working in a hands-on role and wants to be part of a supportive and established business.You'll be responsible for the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and payments, while working closely with suppliers, internal teams and the wider finance function.About the RoleReporting to the Finance Manager, you'll manage the end-to-end accounts payable process and help ensure invoices and supplier payments are processed accurately and on time.Processing and coding supplier invoicesMatching invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentationChecking invoices for accuracy and resolving discrepanciesProcessing supplier payments and maintaining payment recordsReconciling supplier statementsResponding to supplier queries and following up outstanding issuesMaintaining accurate supplier recordsAssisting with month-end accounts payable activitiesSupporting reconciliations and general finance administrationMaintaining organised and accurate financial recordsWorking closely with purchasing, operations and other internal teamsIdentifying and resolving invoice and payment issues in a timely mannerAbout YouYou'll be someone who takes pride in getting the details right and enjoys keeping things organised.
To be successful,



you'll have:Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of accounts payable processesExcellent organisation and time management skillsStrong communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with suppliersGood computer skills and confidence learning new systemsExperience with accounting or ERP systems will be highly regardedAbility to work independently while also being part of a teamA proactive approach and willingness to get involvedExperience in a manufacturing, construction, trade or distribution environment will be highly regarded but is not essential.Why Join Metroll?
