You will support steel preparation, material handling, clean-up, fitting assistance, and secure day-to-day production activities.What you'll be doingAssisting boilermakers, welders, fabricators,



and mechanical trades with daily tasksSupporting preparation, grinding, drilling, clean-up, and basic fabrication activitiesHandling materials, tools, and equipment safely in a workshop or shipyard environmentFollowing instructions from trades, leading hands, and supervisorsWorking safely and contributing to a productive team environmentAbout youYou may not be trade qualified, but you will have practical hands-on experience and the right attitude.
To be successful, you will bring:A current General Construction Induction Card (White Card)Experience using hand tools, grinders, drills, or basic fabrication equipmentPrevious experience supporting boilermakers, welders, fabricators, or similar tradesA strong work ethic and reliable approach to workA team-first attitude with a focus on working safelyWillingness to learn, take direction, and build skills in the marine fabrication industryWhat we offerFour-day work week, Monday to ThursdayCompetitive permanent or casual rates, plus applicable loadings and penalty ratesOngoing work across diverse marine projectsRelocation assistance for suitable candidatesOpportunities to travelSupportive team culture in beautiful Port Macquarie, NSW
