About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our agile team at Conder Dental Centre. In this part time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our dentists and providing high-quality patient care in our up-to-date practice located in Conder, ACT.

What you'll be doing
Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and handing dentists the required tools
Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and providing exceptional customer service
Maintaining accurate patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling administrative duties as required
Ensuring the dental practice is clean, organised, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Supporting the overall operations of the dental practice and contributing to a positive team environment

What we're looking for
A relevant Dental Assisting qualification or equivalent experience in a dental or healthcare setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a warm and professional manner
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively




A team-oriented approach and the willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the practice
Proficiency in using dental equipment and software, with the ability to learn current systems quickly
