Their leadership team is approachable, experienced and committed to delivering positive outcomes for both customers and employees.The OpportunityA 6 month temporary opportunity has become available based in the Sydney CBD offices, commencing as soon as possible.Reporting to the Collections Manager, you will support the wider collections team by managing a portfolio of consumer mortgage accounts up to 30 days in arrears.This role requires a balanced approach — achieving strong recovery outcomes while maintaining empathy and professionalism when working with customers.Key responsibilities include:Contacting customers to discuss overdue accounts and recover outstanding arrears in a professional and respectful mannerNegotiating and implementing realistic repayment arrangements tailored to each customer's situationMonitoring repayment plans and following up on commitmentsLiaising with internal stakeholders including Customer Service, Credit and Legal teams to resolve matters efficientlyMaintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirementsAchieving individual KPIs while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team environmentThis prospect would suit someone who enjoys structured targets, meaningful customer interaction and working within a supportive financial services team.About YouTo be successful in this opportunity, you will bring the following experience and qualities:Minimum 18 months' collections experience within financial services OR 18 months customer service experience within a financial services environmentConfidence managing sensitive conversations regarding overdue accountsStrong negotiation and influencing skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational abilityA proactive mindset and the ability to quickly integrate into an established teamAvailability to commence immediately or at short notice will be highly regardedOTE $80,000–$100,000 | Uncapped Commissions.
