Are you an experienced Boilermaker, Fabricator or Welder ready to step into a leadership role — without moving completely off the tools?

We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a small production team in a busy workshop manufacturing heavy-duty equipment for the transport industry.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for keeping production moving, making sure jobs are completed on time and to a high standard, while supporting the team on the tools when needed.

Your day will include:
Supervising a small fabrication, welding and assembly team
Planning and coordinating daily production
Fabrication, welding and assembly work
Quality checking completed work and production paperwork
Training and supporting team members
Maintaining tools, jigs and workshop equipment
Ordering workshop consumables
Helping clear backlogs and cover the team when required
Assisting with technical product enquiries and warranty assessments
Investigating quality issues and coordinating rework when required

What We're Looking For

You don't need to have been a Supervisor before.



We're interested in people with the right hands-on experience and leadership ability.

Ideally, you'll have:
A solid background in boilermaking, fabrication or welding
Experience working with heavy equipment, transport equipment, trailers or similar
The ability to read drawings and understand fabrication processes
Positive attention to quality and detail
Confidence leading and training others
A practical, “get stuck in” attitude
Good communication and problem-solving skills
The ability to work on the tools when the team needs you

This is a great opportunity for a senior tradesperson who is ready to take the next step into supervision, or an experienced supervisor who still enjoys being hands-on.
