Techie International College is looking for experienced and qualified Trainer & Assessors to join our trade training team.

We are currently seeking trainers in the following areas:
Certificate III in Solid Plastering
Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling
Certificate III in Roof Plumbing
Certificate III in Stonemasonry

Applicants qualified in one or more of these trade areas are encouraged to apply.

About the Role

As a Trainer & Assessor, you will deliver practical and theory-based training, assess student competency, support student progression and help students develop strong, job-ready trade skills.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging practical and classroom training.
Conduct competency-based assessments.
Demonstrate trade techniques, tools and equipment.
Support and monitor student progress.
Provide constructive feedback to students.
Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
Follow WHS and workplace safety requirements.
Participate in validation and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain current industry knowledge and vocational competency.

What We Are Looking For

You will ideally have:
A relevant trade qualification in Solid Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling, Roof Plumbing and/or Stonemasonry.




Current and relevant industry experience.
A recognised Trainer and Assessor qualification (TAE) that meets current RTO requirements.
Solid practical and technical trade skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage and support students from diverse backgrounds.
A solid commitment to quality training and compliance.

Highly Regarded
Previous Trainer & Assessor experience within an RTO.
Experience delivering construction or trade qualifications.
Experience working with international students.
Knowledge of competency-based training and assessment.
Relevant industry licences, registrations or tickets.
