About the Role - What will you do?
Maintains a clean, comfortable and homely setting for the residents and see that adequate attractive meals are served for them at correct temperatures.
To be one of an integrated team to ensure that the residents in the facility are as contented as possible. Refer any unusual observations or problems to the appropriate Supervisor.
Communicates in a respectful manner to residents.
Empathetic with elderly and/or disabled people and is able to be calm and understanding in any dealings with them.
Willing to let people in their care make as many decisions of their own as is possible and is respectful of the resident’s dignity and self-esteem.
