Mammoth Equipment & Exhausts is seeking an experienced Trades Assistant / Field Technician to join our team in Orange NSW. As a full-time Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing installation (and removal) services of our Thermal Blanket range to our valued customers across the region. The successful applicant will also have the mechanical aptitude and willingness to progress through our tier system and become a certified Fire Suppression Technician (Tier 4) to better service our customers across our multiple product lines.

Please note: Applicants will be invited to complete an automated screening assessment as part of the shortlisting process.

What you'll be doing - Tier 1
Remove or seal off old insulation whilst complying with company and general site safety protocols.
Installing thermal blankets (or lagging) onto engine exhaust systems of earth moving and/or industrial equipment.
Executing fitting requirements as per installation drawings and procedures.
Liaise with customer representatives at point of operation to ensure effective delivery of product.
Ensure work equipment is always maintained and in good working order.




Meet delivery expectations as per customer delivery requirements.
Other duties may include - forklift operations; warehousing; and manufacturing for both Mammoth Equipment or Ecoblue business.

What we're looking for
Relevant industry related experience or mechanical trade background
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Trades Assistant or within a Lagging position
Robust problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability and willingness to travel to mine / customer sites
Valid Working at Heights & Confined Spaces
Manual Drivers License
Forklift License - Advantageous
EWP - Advantageous
