Bannister In Home Care is seeking a reliable, hard working Disability/Community Support Worker’s for Personal Care inc Complex Bowel Care in a High Intensity Support (Female ONLY) role.

About The Role

We are seeking experienced Disability/Community Support Worker's who are responsible and proactive, for shifts located in the Burleigh Waters. The ideal candidate/s will have the availability and flexibility to work Monday to Sunday over a range of shifts (PM – from 6pm to midnight).

You will be providing support to our clients in their day-to-day lives, by assisting and encouraging them to participate in tasks such as (but not limited to):
Personal Care - showering, dressing, complex bowel care
Manual Handling - transfers
Domestic Assistance - cleaning, cooking, shopping, laundry
Companionship - providing company and friendship

Personal Attributes
Must have Community/Aged/Disability Care experience
MUST be reliable
Must be Physically fit
Be available for shifts 7 days a week from (most shifts are from 6pm to midnight)
Exceptional communication and organisational skills
Attention to detail, cleanliness and hygiene




Professionalism, discretion, understanding and respectful in relation to the client and family
Reliable, punctual, self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised

Skills & Experience
Certificate III in Aged, Disability, Individual Support or other relevant qualification
Minimum of 6 months paid work experience in a similar role
Must have Complex Bowel Care experience
Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
Own reliable transport
Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening card
Australian Work Rights verification
Two relevant work references

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $48.06 per hour
