About the Role

We’re seeking a energetic Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Doughkyo store. As the Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences, maintaining high standards of product quality, and fostering a positive work environment for our team. A typical day in the life of a Doughkyo Store Manager will include:
Managing all aspects of daily bakery operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and inventory management.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Monitoring product quality and presentation to uphold Doughkyo’s standards of excellence.
Implementing strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Recruiting, coaching, and supervising bakery staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Monitoring sales performance and expenses, taking proactive measures to achieve financial targets.




Controlling inventory levels and minimise waste to maximise efficiency and profitability.
Collaborating with marketing team to execute promotional activities and events.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Retail/QSR management experience 2+ years
Proven experience in a managerial role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a bakery or similar establishment.
Demonstrated knowledge of retail operational processes
Exceptional communication skills
Financial business experience – the ability to interpret P&L;’s and financial data
Strong problem-solving skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work a adaptable schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Passion for Japanese cuisine and bakery products is a plus.
