Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Designer to join our team in Brisbane.

Responsibilities
Provide day to day design services to a dedicated project or suite of projects
Ensure deliverables are presentable and accurate and are consistency checked
Under supervision is mainly engaged in making technical design drawings involving originality of thought which requires the exercise of judgment and skill
Readily takes ownership of discipline design commitments and requirements on a project

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ design engineering related experience in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and/or civil design
Relevant recognised qualifications preferred but not essential
Knowledge of applicable codes and standards commensurate with experience
Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modelling commensurate with experience
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to demonstrate team working skills
Enthusiastic, conscientious and keen to learn
Versatile with a can-do attitude
