They're investing in a Demand Rostering capability to bring more accuracy and rigour to workforce forecasting, and they need a hands‐on Data Analyst to help build and run it.This isn't a dashboard‐maintenance role.
You'll sit close to the operational teams, get exposure to Microsoft Fabric on a live project, and have real input into how the reporting and data models evolve as the capability matures.What you'll be doingSupporting the rollout of a Demand Rostering capability across pubs and venues nationally, getting deep into the operational drivers behind workforce demandOwning and evolving the Power BI reporting suite: reports, semantic models, measures and business logicInvestigating discrepancies between forecasts, actuals and workforce requirements, tracing issues back through source data and business rulesWorking inside Microsoft Fabric on data ingestion,



transformation and notebook-based workflowsBuilding out data quality checks and following anomalies through to resolution with the right internal and external ownersTranslating operational feedback into clear technical and analytical requirementsActing as the go‐to for data issues, explaining findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersMust haveStrong SQL skills and experience with large or complex datasetsProven experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, semantic models and measuresSolid understanding of data modelling, ingestion and transformation conceptsA structured, investigative approach, comfortable tracing issues beyond the report layerStrong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiencesTertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent practical experienceNice to haveExperience with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable contemporary data platformFabric notebooks, Python or PySpark exposureExperience supporting production data pipelinesBackground in hospitality, retail or other multi-site operational environmentsExposure to workforce planning, demand forecasting or rostering
