Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Pipeline Engineers to join our team in Brisbane on a 12 months contract.

Responsibilities
Preparation and review of engineering design documents
Responsible for pipeline design including tie-ins and crossing, right of way, development of alignment sheets and construction work packs
GIS familiarity
Provide technical guidance to designers
Liaise with inter-discipline engineers, designers and specialist to understand project requirements.
Assist in discipline front end and detailed design input to engineering projects
Provide technical guidance and support to the project teams and clients
Responsible for study, design, specification, and services related to the engineering discipline

Qualifications
Must be degree qualified with at least 8 to 10 years’ experience, predominantly in the Oil & Gas sector
RPEQ is preferred
Experienced in engineering design including conceptual, FEED, detailed design and studies
Capable of communicating and interfacing effectively with other disciplines, project managers, and clients’ representatives




Must have strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards including AS 2885 and the APGA Code of Practice for Upstream Polyethylene Gathering Networks – CSG Industry
Good analytical skills capable of writing transparent & concise technical reports
