SOUS CHEF — AVALON RESTAURANT

Mediterranean Cuisine | Full time | Tuesday–Saturday

Avalon Restaurant is looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

We’re seeking someone who loves Mediterranean cuisine, takes pride in quality and consistency, and enjoys working in a professional, quick-paced restaurant setting.

The Role

Working closely with the Head Chef, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to lead the team and maintain our high standards of food, presentation and service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef, or for a talented chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership role.

About You

Previous experience as a Sous Chef is preferred

Or proven experience as a Chef de Partie / Senior Chef ready for the next step

Strong knowledge and passion for Mediterranean cuisine

Confident leading and supporting a kitchen team





High standards of food quality, preparation and presentation

Strong communication and organizational skills

Able to remain calm and effective in a busy service

Reliable, professional and passionate about hospitality A genuine desire to grow and develop within the role
