About the role

This is a field-based WHS Advisor role supporting Regional Workplace Safety across construction, agriculture and infrastructure projects throughout regional South Australia. Depending on your roster and project assignment, you will be working across RWS client sites or on a major wind farm construction project. This role involves being out on site, talking with workers and supervisors and finding practical solutions rather than sitting behind a desk.

Key responsibilities
Conducting site WHS inspections and field interactions
Attending and facilitating pre-start and toolbox meetings
Monitoring high-risk construction activities
Reviewing SWMS, procedures and permits
Monitoring implementation of risk controls
Consulting with workers, supervisors and contractors
Incident and near-miss response
Assisting with incident investigations
Monitoring corrective actions
Maintaining WHS records and reports

About you
Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or higher




Construction White Card
Current Australian driver's licence
Practical WHS experience
Positive communication and people skills
Ability to work independently
Sound computer and reporting skills
A practical and sensible approach to safety
Experience in construction, civil works, renewable energy, engineering, electrical infrastructure or major projects would be highly regarded
