Your New TeamThe Personal Injuries Law Team provides strategic legal advice and representation to the Queensland Government and government agencies across a broad range of personal injury matters.
Acting on behalf of the Queensland Government Insurance Fund (QGIF) and other government clients, the team manages a diverse practice encompassing public liability, medical negligence and other complex claims.
The team is recognised for its technical expertise, collaborative approach and commitment to delivering highquality legal services and client outcomes.Your New RoleAs Assistant Crown Solicitor, you will provide strategic leadership to a team of lawyers responsible for delivering high-quality legal services across the personal injuries practice.
Reporting to the Deputy Crown Solicitor, you will play a key role in leading team performance, developing capability, maintaining strong client relationships and supporting the effective delivery of legal services to government.
Combining technical expertise with people leadership, you will contribute to the continued success of the practice while helping to develop the next generation of legal talent within Crown Law.Key responsibilities include:Leading, mentoring and developing a team of lawyersProviding strategic advice and oversight on complex personal injuries mattersShaping litigation and dispute resolution strategies across significant claimsBuilding and maintaining trusted relationships with government clients and stakeholdersSupporting practice management,
