The Great Flavour of India is a renowned Indian restaurant located in the bustling town of Innisfail, QLD. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, managing the staff, and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the restaurant staff, including servers, hosts, and kitchen staff
Train and mentor new staff members, ensuring they adhere to our standards of service and quality
Create work schedules and assign duties to staff members
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Ensure that the restaurant is clean, well-maintained, and meets all health and safety standards
Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the restaurant's performance
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and address any concerns or suggestions




Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members
Lead by example by providing excellent customer service and promoting a positive work environment

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in the food and beverage industry
Extensive knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a quick-paced setting
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required
