Employment typeOngoing - full-time roleLocationThe incumbent will be based at a primary location of work in the South East and may be expected to travel where required.About the roleThe Disability Inclusion Senior Officer will be part of the Regional Disability Inclusion Implementation Branch who will support the delivery of Disability Inclusion across the Region.The Disability Inclusion Senior Implementation Officer will provide direct support to schools to further embed the Disability Inclusion reform initiatives to ensure consistent practice across all education settings.The primary responsibility of this role is to work directly with Area staff and schools to support the delivery of Disability Inclusion.
In partnership with Area teams, the role will visit schools, provide direct advice on Disability Inclusion and support training of schools and broader educational workforces.The role promotes and maintains solid relationships with key stakeholders and other regional and central staff to ensure consistent,



high-quality practice across the region.In addition to working within an area to provide advice on embedding Disability Inclusion, the Disability Inclusion Senior Implementation Officer will be required to work collaboratively with other regional workforces to support the integration of the Disability Inclusion across the system.Desirable Qualifications and ExperienceMandatory Tertiary qualification in education, disability, allied health or another relevant fieldEssential Strong stakeholder management skillsDriver's licenseEmployer culture and policiesThe department values diversity and inclusion in all forms - gender, religion, ethnicity, LGBTIQ+, disability and neurodiversity.
