The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers.General TasksSupport in daily operation of the Hose Service CentreConduct hose assembly, cylinder rebuilds, pump/motor procedures, and general hydraulic/fitting worksAssist to customers' needs at the counter and on the phoneYouTo be considered for this position you will ideally have:Possession of a Trade Certificate as a Fitter Machinist or Mechanic is essentialA strong understanding of customer serviceGood telephone mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to carry out instructionsA knowledge of the hydraulic/industrial industryAbility to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devicesBe computer literate and have good literacy and numeracy skillsWell presented and groomedStrong work ethic and pride in workmanshipAbility to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solveDesire to be a team playerLive within a reasonable distance to the businessAn understanding of WHS and Safe Work PracticesMaintain neat and tidy dress and appearance in line with Pirtek Dress Code Policy
