The opportunityWe are seeking a talented Senior Project Accountant/Cost Controller to join our Boeing Defence Australia Finance team.
This role consists of project financial management and reporting to support projects across the BDA Portfolio.
This role offers the opportunity to challenge yourself in a fast-paced environment with plenty of changes that keep the work interesting and the opportunity for exposure to the broader Boeing enterprise.

The work that Boeing does contributes to aviation and aerospace products, technologies and services that make a difference in the lives of people around the world.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in weekly, monthly and annual reporting requirementsPrepare Estimates at CompletionMake recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experienceInitiate and review variance analysis and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to multiple stakeholders across the businessAnalyse, interpret, prepare and reconcile financial informationPrepare standard and ad hoc internal and external financial reports for management and present to internal stakeholders where requiredStakeholder management including liaising with project managers, product team leads, finance team, program leadership and the Commonwealth customerMentoring of junior project accountants in the teamExperience/QualificationsBachelor's degree in finance, business or commerce; or equivalent experience in the workforceCA/CPA qualification desirableRelevant experience in a project accounting,
