Newcastle and Melbourne.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesInspections of existing structures to identify and suggest appropriate upgrading regimes to comply with BCA requirements.Internal design review function to assist Building Designers for compliance of designs against the BCA, includingHealth and AmenityAccess / Egress;ServicesBushfire compliance of numerous building classificationsDevelopment of Performance Solution Reports to satisfy the Performance Requirements of the BCA.Specific Skills & AttributesStrong technical report‐writing skills with excellent written English.High attention to detail and strong analytical capability.Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and site inspections.Ability to work collaboratively within a teamStrong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and industry best practice.Please note that candidates who have previously applied for this position are not required to submit another application.
