About the Company
Our client is a well-established and respected workshop based in Banyo, Brisbane, specialising in the repair and maintenance of a wide range of commercial and light vehicles.

With a strong reputation across Queensland and a fully equipped workshop, they are currently looking to add 2 experienced Mechanics to their team.

The Roles

1 x Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Working across a range of trucks, trailers, buses and other commercial vehicles, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles.

1 x Light Vehicle Mechanic

Working across a variety of light vehicles, you'll be responsible for servicing, diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and completing preventative maintenance to a high standard.

What's on Offer
2 x roles available - Heavy Vehicle Mechanic & Light Vehicle Mechanic
$45-$60 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Day and afternoon shifts available
Casual and permanent positions available
Opportunity to move from casual to permanent for the right candidate
Monday to Friday roster
Overtime opportunities available

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
Perform servicing and preventative maintenance
Carry out inspections and identify additional repair requirements
Repair and replace mechanical components
Complete accurate service records and workshop documentation
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintain a clean and organised workshop

About You
Trade qualification as a Heavy Vehicle, Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanic
Previous workshop experience
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety
Reliable work ethic and skilled attitude
Heavy vehicle experience across American, European and Japanese vehicles is highly regarded for the Heavy Vehicle position
