Job Overview & Purpose The Referral Strategy Intern will support Cochlear's Global Referral Strategy team through data analysis, market research, reporting, and project coordination activities. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, the intern will contribute to initiatives that help improve referral pathways and support growth in cochlear implant adoption. This role provides practical exposure to strategy, analytics, and healthcare market development within a global medical device organisation.

Accountabilities

Accountability 1: Analytics & Insights Support
Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of referral performance data.
Assist in maintaining dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools used by the Referral Strategy team.
Identify trends and patterns in data and support the development of insights and recommendations.
Support the preparation of presentations and summary reports for internal stakeholders.
Success will be measured by the accuracy, quality, and usefulness of reporting and analysis outputs.

Accountability 2: Strategy, Research & Continuous Improvement
Conduct desktop research on referral pathways,



customer behaviour, market trends, and industry best practices.
Support the team in identifying prospects to improve referral programs, processes, and ways of working.
Support documentation of workflows, processes, and project learnings.
Contribute ideas and recommendations based on research, analysis, and academic learning.
Success will be measured by the quality of insights, recommendations, and process improvements identified.

Accountability 3: Project Coordination & Team Support
Provide administrative and project support for referral strategy initiatives and pilot programs.
Assist with meeting preparation, project tracking, and coordination activities.
Collaborate with team members across Standard of Care, Marketing, Sales, Market Development, and Analytics functions.
Support the development of presentations, training materials, and knowledge-sharing resources.
Success will be measured through reliable project support, timely completion of tasks, and positive stakeholder feedback.
