Shift Supervisor – Restaurant & Bar

Eating House Rowville | Rowville VIC

Eating House is looking for an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead our front-of-house team during busy restaurant and bar services.

Established in 2004, we serve breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, alongside functions, celebrations and takeaway. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys looking after guests, supporting staff and keeping service running smoothly.

What you’ll do
Lead the FOH team during your shifts and set the standard for warm, attentive service
Allocate sections, coordinate breaks and respond to changes in guest demand
Oversee bookings, table flow, food and drink service, and guest requests
Resolve service issues promptly and professionally
Coach team members on menu knowledge, service and appropriate upselling
Communicate closely with the kitchen and bar
Complete opening or closing duties, cash handling and shift handovers
Help manage staffing efficiently while maintaining service standards

What we’re looking for
Experience supervising a busy restaurant, café or bar shift




Confidence leading a team while remaining hands-on with service
Solid communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
A calm approach during peak periods
Availability for evenings and weekends
Current RSA and valid Australian work rights

Experience with reservations, functions and staff rostering is an advantage.
