Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll oversee financial reporting, month-end, compliance, audit and taxation, while providing commercial insights and driving continuous improvement.As a trusted 2IC, you will also support the Financial Controller in mentoring and developing the Finance team and building technical capability.
Responsibilities include:Lead the end-to-end month-end close and preparation of monthly management accountsDeliver financial reporting, variance analysis and insights to senior stakeholdersMaintain balance sheet integrity and oversee reconciliations and journalsManage statutory compliance, taxation and audit requirementsSupport budgeting, forecasting and business planningPartner with operational stakeholders to improve financial performance and cost controlMentor and develop Finance team members, building capability and a culture of accountability and continuous improvementIdentify opportunities to improve processes, automation,



reporting and controlsAbout youYou are an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
You will bring:CA, CPA or equivalent qualificationSignificant experience in a complex, high-volume or multi-site environmentStrong technical accounting capability and a solid understanding of IFRSProven experience across month-end, financial reporting, audit and statutory complianceExperience supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planningStrong leadership and stakeholder skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomesAdvanced Excel and financial systems capabilityA continuous improvement mindset, with a solid eye for detail and a practical approach to solving problemsBenefits5 weeks annual leave and competitive pay rates.Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available 24/7.Career development and progression.Corporate Parking Allowance (Broadbeach).
