Driven by our Purpose ofbuilding the communities we want to live in, we are connected and inspired by our Values.We are seeking an experiencedProject Engineerto join our delivery team on a major water projects, with a strong emphasis oncivil works delivery and complex reinforced concrete structures.
This role will support the successful delivery of critical infrastructure includingwater retaining concrete structures, earthworks, pipelines, and associated civil components that form part of a water treatment facility.About the RoleAs Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery ofcivil construction works, with a particular focus onlarge-scale concrete structures and water-retaining elements.
You will work closely with the Project Manager, Engineers, Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.Key responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day engineering activities across civil works packagesCoordinating construction ofreinforced concrete structures, including tanks, basins and foundationsOverseeingformwork, steel fixing,
concrete pours, curing processes, and QA hold pointsSupporting bulk earthworks, excavation, backfilling, and site preparation worksCoordinatingprocurement of materials, concrete supplies, reinforcement, formwork systems, and subcontract packagesAssisting with subcontractor scope development, tendering support, and procurement schedulingInterpreting drawings, specifications, and engineering documentationPreparing and managing QA documentation including ITPs, checklists, and inspection recordsSupporting construction planning, sequencing, and methodology developmentMonitoring progress, reporting, and assisting with cost and project controlsEnsuring compliance with WHS requirements, Australian Standards, and project specificationsAbout YouYou are a hands-on engineer who thrives in the delivery ofcomplex concrete civil structuresand understands the importance of coordination between design, procurement, and site execution.You will ideally have:Degree in Civil or Mechanical EngineeringStrong experience incivil construction with a focus on reinforced concrete structuresProven involvement inwater infrastructure or treatment plant projectsSolid understanding of concrete construction methodology (formwork, reinforcement, pours, curing, QA)Experience in procurement activities including supplier coordination and subcontract package managementAbility to interpret civil and structural drawings and specificationsStrong QA documentation experience (ITPs, inspections, quality assurance systems)Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple stakeholders
