We are looking for a System Analyst to join our Diversified Platforms team and support the applications that enable HCF's life insurance, payments and shared services operations.
This is a varied application support and delivery role where you will help keep critical applications running effectively while contributing to system enhancements, defect fixes, software releases and new product initiatives.ResponsibilitiesSupport One Office and other shared-service applications across HCF's diversified platformsMonitor system batches and investigate production incidentsProvide first-level application and production supportWork with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve system issuesAnalyse system requirements and assess impacts for new and enhanced applicationsDesign practical system solutions aligned with business requirements and solution architectureContribute to defect fixes, enhancements, releases, testing and implementation activitiesSupport project initiatives, including new product launchesMaintain system availability, data integrity and accurate reportingIdentify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and effectivenessUse AI-assisted tools appropriately to improve analysis, documentation and productivityRequired SkillsAt least two to three years' experience in systems analysis, application support, production support roles.
Intermediate SQL capability, including the ability to investigate data and troubleshoot system issuesSome SSIS exposure will be advantageousStrong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting and debugging skillsExperience supporting distributed applications, including cloud-based applicationsUnderstanding of relational databases, SOA,



REST or web services and client-server technologiesKnowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile or Scrum delivery practicesExperience using Jira and ConfluenceStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to collaborate effectively with business users, analysts, developers, architects, vendors and delivery teamsExperience in life insurance, insurance in general, payments applications and production support experience will be highly regarded.
