Senior Project Accountant

Hunter Manning are partnering with a fast-growing ASX-listed mining business who are looking for an experienced Senior Project Accountant to join their Perth team.

This is a senior, hands-on opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running , combining robust accounting capability with a commercial approach.

Working closely with senior finance and operational stakeholders, you’ll have broad exposure across reporting, analysis and business partnering, while also mentoring and guiding more junior members of the finance team .

Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of key accounting and reporting activities
Partner with operational leaders to provide commercial insight
Analyse performance and identify key business and cost drivers
Support budgeting, forecasting and planning
Provide analysis to support commercial decision-making
Drive improvements across finance processes and reporting
Mentor and support more junior finance team members





About You
CA/CPA qualified
7+ years’ relevant accounting experience
Previous mining experience is essential
Robust management and financial accounting capability
Commercially minded with solid operational understanding
Confident partnering with senior and non-finance stakeholders
Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership from day one
