This is for an experienced Site Manager who wants to take ownership, lead from the front and be part of something bigger.MJM Recruit is proud to partner with a long-established, family-owned commercial and industrial builder with more than 40 years of success across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.Known for delivering quality projects and building lasting client relationships, the business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join its growing Queensland division.The OpportunityWorking closely with the Senior Project Manager and Director, you will take ownership of day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.You will be trusted to lead your site, make decisions and resolve issues without being micromanaged.
Projects typically range from $5M–$30M across the commercial and industrial sectors.What You Will Be Responsible ForManaging all day-to-day site operations from establishment to handoverLeading subcontractors, trades and site personnelDriving the construction programme and coordinating daily worksPreparing short-term programmes and forward-planning labour, materials and deliveriesConducting site inductions, toolbox meetings and safety inspectionsEnsuring WHS, quality and environmental requirements are maintainedReviewing drawings, specifications and scopes of workCoordinating consultants, inspections and required approvalsMonitoring workmanship, progress and subcontractor performanceIdentifying risks, resolving site issues and preventing delaysMaintaining accurate site diaries, records and documentationManaging defects,



completion works and project handoverLiaising closely with Project Managers, clients and key stakeholdersWhat Sets You ApartProven Site Manager experience within commercial or industrial constructionA robust track record delivering projects valued between $5M and $30MExcellent subcontractor coordination and programme management skillsStrong knowledge of construction methodology, safety and quality requirementsThe ability to read and interpret drawings and specificationsA confident leadership style and the ability to make sound decisionsExcellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsHigh integrity, accountability and pride in the quality of your workRelevant trade or construction qualifications highly regardedExperience using Procore or BuildPass highly regardedLocal Queensland market knowledge advantageousMost importantly, you are looking for more than just your next project.
