Build your career within our growing Kennards Major Projects divisionCoordinate equipment hire across some of Australia's major project sitesKennards Major Projects (KMP) supports some of Australia's largest construction and infrastructure projects, working closely with our customers, Project Managers and branch network to keep projects moving.We're looking for a Hire Controller to join our KMP team and provide high-quality coordination and support across a portfolio of major projects.About the roleThis is a fast-paced role where no two days are quite the same.
You'll be coordinating hire requirements, working with multiple stakeholders and helping make sure our customers get the equipment and service they need, when they need it.What you'll be doingWorking closely with our KMP Project Managers, customers and Kennards Hire branches, you'll:Coordinate equipment hire requirements across a portfolio of major projectsCreate and manage hire contracts and ensure information is accurate and up to dateLiaise with branches to coordinate equipment availability, deliveries and project requirementsMaintain regular communication with customers and provide support when Project Managers are unavailableRaise purchase orders and provide administrative support to Project ManagersConvert approved quotes and help coordinate equipment requirementsMonitor project activity and follow up outstanding actionsMaintain accurate information within Baseplan and other relevant systemsWork closely with the wider KMP team to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experienceSupport our Quality Operations Management standards and safe ways of workingAbout youYou're organised,
