Casual Temporary AssociatePosted 03 Sep ****DescriptionSummaryWe are seeking skilled and confident Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide person-centred support to two young men (ages 24 and 26) with Level 3 autism spectrum disorder and complex support needs.
This role requires strong communication skills, calm decision-making, and the ability to implement behaviour support strategies consistently and safely.
We are seeking reliable and flexible team members who are available to work a variety of shifts and can respond to short-notice staffing requirements when needed.About the roleYou will support residents to follow structured routines, increase independence and participate meaningfully in daily life.
The role includes:Supporting daily living skills and personal careImplementing proactive and reactive behaviour strategiesProviding community access and skill-building opportunitiesAccurate documentation and consistent communication with the support team and familyFollowing medication administration requirements, including PRN administrationShifts are available across weekdays and weekends:7:00am – 3:00pm3:00pm – 10:00pmActive awake overnight shifts (10:00pm – 7:00am)We are looking for workers who can complete shifts across these different shift times,
