As a 2IC at our Blackburn South location you will be the part leader, part mentor, part fun maker for a team of legends and create unforgettable Before School and After School programs for primary aged kids.You will:Lead awesome activities like sports, cooking, arts, crafts and bring the fun to life with creativity, exploration, and design of holiday programsSpark curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every childCreate an inclusive environment that supports all children, families, and your teamMake every child feel protected, seen, supported,



and celebratedSupport the Coordinator and collaborate with your team of legendsBuild strong connections with children, families, and the school community - keeping families in the loop with regular communicationAttend and contribute to school events, assemblies, and partnership meetingsManage health needs, including medicals, health management plans, and behaviour management plansEnsure risk management and compliance across the programDevelop and regularly update the service's Strategic Inclusion Plan and Quality Improvement PlanTrain, mentor, and develop your team - and bring your ideas to the table, we love fresh thinking!
Attend fortnightly training sessions and the annual Coordinator ConferenceSupport children in their daily routines, including food preparation and cleaning dutiesManage administration, compliance and staff developmentReport to and be supported by your amazing Area ManagerPermanent Shifts:Monday to FridayBefore school care: 7:00am to 9:00amAfter school care: 2:45pm to 6:00pmTotal: 26 hours and 15 minutes per weekDon't forget about the split shift allowance and laundry allowance too!
We are looking for someone who:Has a Diploma/Bachelor's in Education or is working towards it (or ACECQA recognised equivalent) like Youth Work, Community Services or Primary/Secondary EducationHolds a Working with Children Check, First Aid, CPR,
