Part time Kitchen Hand

Eating House Rowville is looking for a reliable and hard-working kitchen hand to join our busy kitchen team.

Operating since 2004, Eating House is an established premium-casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

About the role

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who works quickly, takes pride in cleanliness and can remain organised during busy services.

Your responsibilities will include
Operating the commercial dishwasher
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
Keeping the dishwashing and kitchen areas clean and organised
Completing scheduled cleaning duties
Emptying bins and managing waste correctly
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
Receiving and storing deliveries
Following food-safety, hygiene and workplace-safety procedures
Supporting the kitchen team during busy services

About you

We are looking for someone who:
Is reliable, punctual and hard-working
Can work quickly and calmly under pressure
Maintains high cleaning and hygiene standards
Can safely perform the physical requirements of the role
Communicates well and works as part of a team




Is available for evening and weekend shifts
Has reliable transport to Rowville
Holds valid Australian working rights

Previous kitchen-hand or hospitality experience is preferred, but training can be provided to the right applicant.
