This position will be employed on a Permanent Part-time Basis – 32 hours per week .
We are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Enrolled Nurse to continue to provide clinical expertise in a dignified and respectful manner, working closely with patients and their families to ensure a sensitive, welcoming and friendly environment at all times , whilst providing optimal patient outcomes.Key duties and responsibilities will include:Utilising a structured approach carry out comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patientsWithin scope of practice, implements planned evidence-based nursing interventionsAct as a patient advocate ensuring patients are informed and consent is gained prior to proceduresContribute to the maintenance of an environment which promotes safety, security and personal integrity of individual patients and groupsMaintain and adhere to Infection Control policies and practicesComplies with organisational policies, procedures, work instructions and guidelinesEnsure confidentiality of corporate and patient informationAbout youTo be successful in your application you will have:Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)Recent nursing experience in an acute hospital setting (at least 1-year post-graduate experience)Previous experience within a pre and post-operative nursing care in an acute setting is highly desirableAdvanced interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levelsMater is Queensland's largest not-for-profit network of public and private hospitals and healthcare services, bringing together world-class expertise across healthcare , education , fundraising & philanthropy and research .
