As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we deliver a comprehensive range of public health services across the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Regions.Primary Care and Community Health UnitThe Primary Care and Community Health Unit consists of 9 centres that provide a range of services for children, young people and their families, adults, older people and their carers.
Our services range from health promotion, prevention and early detection through to assessment, treatment and continuing care.
Our staff work in partnership with schools, GPs, hospitals, non-government agencies and other organisations to provide care across our centres, in people's homes, other community venues as well as virtual care (telehealth).
Administration Officer RoleJoin Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District as an Administration Officer and provide frontline administrative support to multidisciplinary teams across our Primary Care and Community Health services.
In this role, you will deliver reception and administration services that support nursing,



allied health and other community-based health programs.This position operates on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, and supports services delivered within Community Health Centres, clients' homes and community settings.
Please note, this position may be required to work across all Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District sites as operationally required.If you are a customer-focused administrator with strong organisational and communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

It acknowledges the wisdom of Elders past and present, and pays respect to all Aboriginal communities of today.What you will bring to the rolePrevious reception experience in a busy office environment with effective customer service including answering of all incoming telephone calls.A high level of keyboard, PC, Database and general clerical skills, with attention to detailDemonstrated experience with Microsoft office packagesDemonstrated ability to prioritise, co-ordinate and time manageAbility to work with limited supervision when required, exercise basic judgement and problem solve within delegationGood verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levelsCurrent unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment and willingness to use for work purposes.
This may include driver long distances across the LHD.
