Join a supportive team where accuracy, teamwork and a positive attitude are valued.About UsEndfire Engineering is a proudly Australian-owned fire protection company with over 25 years of industry experience.Operating across Queensland, the Northern Territory, New South Wales, South Australia and New Zealand, we design, install and maintain fire protection systems across commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects.As our business continues to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.About the RoleThis is a varied role combining Accounts Payable processing with general finance administration and reception duties, supporting the day-to-day operations of our Brisbane office and Finance team.You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with reconciliations and payment preparation.
The role also includes answering incoming phone calls, monitoring general company email accounts and assisting with general administrative tasks such as stationery and mail.Working in a collaborative environment,
you will play an important role in ensuring day-to-day accounts payable and office administration tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.Key responsibilities include:Processing supplier invoices and accounts payable transactionsMatching invoices to purchase orders and resolving discrepanciesAssisting with supplier reconciliations and payment processingMaintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentationResponding to supplier and internal finance enquiriesAssisting with general finance administration and reporting activitiesContributing to continuous improvement of finance processes and systemsAnswering incoming telephone callsMonitoring general company email accounts and directing enquiriesCoordinating stationery and printing requirementsAssist with general office administration and day-to-day operational supportSupporting the Finance team with a range of administrative tasksAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Administration or a similar administrative roleExcellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyGood organisational and time management skillsThe ability to prioritise work and meet deadlinesGood communication and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Office skills, particularly ExcelA positive attitude and willingness to learnThe ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative teamCompany OverviewFire Safety Specialists since ****, Endfire Engineering are an Australian owned and operated company and has been trading since early ****.
