We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Casual) to join our team and work across both of our homes (90-bed and 60-bed facilities).
This position requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills to support residents, families, and the care team.
You will have experience in care plan reviews, dementia care, and restrictive practices.
You will also have the support of Clinical Care Managers, After-Hours Coordinators,
and lifestyle assistance in the evenings.About YouRelevant nursing qualifications & AHPRA registrationMinimum of 3 years' experience in residential aged care or a healthcare setting.Experience providing care for people with DementiaSkilled in wound care, palliative care, behaviour management, assessments, and care plansAbility to complete care plan reviews with residents and familiesExperience in clinical assessments and after-hours client managementStrong knowledge of SIRS and Aged Care Quality StandardsStrong and effective leadership skillsExcellent communication and computer skillsAbility to supervise and support team membersPassion for working with the elderlyAdditional dementia education (desirable but not essential)Understanding of AN-ACCIn Return We OfferCompetitive rates with NFP salary packaging (up to $15,900 per year)Novated leasing optionsMeals and Entertainment Card (up to $2,650 per annum)Ongoing mentoring and professional developmentWork-life balance with flexible shiftsAM/PMshifts are available
