Dash Group Trades & Labour is currently seeking an Excavator Operator with a skid steer ticket. Our client is currently at the dig out stage for a high-rise in Southport.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Excavator Operations: Execute deep excavation, basement digs, bulk earth removal, and loading multi-combination trucks safely and efficiently.
Multi-Plant Operation: Operate Bobcats and Rollers for site preparation, trench backfilling, sub-base compaction, and general site maintenance.
Site Setup & Prep: Assist in establishing initial site boundary access, benching, and level preparation for foundation works.
Safety & Maintenance: Conduct pre-start checks, report plant faults, and maintain strict compliance with site safety plans and excavation permits.

To Be Considered You’ll Need:
Tickets: Valid RIIMPO320F (Excavator), RIIMPO318F (Skid Steer/Bobcat), and RIIMPO317F (Roller) or equivalent VOCs.
Experience:



Minimum 3–5 years operating excavators (20t–35t+) on bulk earthworks or commercial site-prep projects. High-rise or tight-access excavation experience is highly regarded.
Cards: White Card (General Construction Induction).
Licence: Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport.
Mindset: Solid commitment to workplace health and safety, clear communication skills, and ability to work to strict civil plans and GPS/laser levels.
